Neurodevelopmental assessment

A holistic approach

We specialise in understanding the developmental needs of children, young people and adults through high-quality cognitive and neurodevelopmental assessments.

We are nationally contracted to deliver intellectual disability diagnostic assessments (IDDA). We also offer assessments for autism, trauma-related developmental impacts, and other neurodevelopmental conditions.

Our assessments go beyond diagnosis. We focus on identifying strengths, protective factors and the barriers that may be affecting development, learning and wellbeing. By building a complete picture of each person, we help ensure that the right supports are in place to make a meaningful difference. Our approach ensures that each neurodevelopmental assessment reflects the person’s full context—supporting meaningful pathways to learning and wellbeing.

Working together

We work closely with key services—such as the Ministry of Education, child development services and other support agencies—to help coordinate follow-up care and ensure continuity of support after assessment. Our goal is to help individuals and their family/whānau access the right services at the right time. We collaborate with services nationwide to ensure the insights from our neurodevelopmental assessments lead to sustained support for the individual and their whānau.
