What is psychological safety in the workplace? Psychological safety is a workplace environment where people feel safe to take interpersonal risks, ask questions, share ideas, and raise concerns without fear of negative consequences.
Why is psychological safety important for leaders? Leaders who can ensure psychological safety for their team members can create higher-performing teams. When people feel safe, they can offer more ideas, stretch themselves, and collaborate more effectively, all of which contributes to peak performance and a great team culture.
How long are the workshops? Our half-day workshop is around four hours, and we also have a shorter two-hour introductory workshop available.
Can workshops be tailored to my team? Yes. Psychological safety in leadership must be specific to the people in your team and the context of your work—so our workshops are, too. We will collect some information about your industry, your organisation, your people, and your goals during the booking process and communicate as necessary to ensure that you receive teaching and resources that’s relevant and helpful.
What will participants take away? Participants will leave with a clearer understanding of psychological safety and practical strategies to build trust, improve communication, strengthen engagement, and support team wellbeing.
