Our physiotherapists help you to address pain and restore movement and function, to allow you to return to doing what you love. We work with patients of all ages and all abilities, ranging from weekend warriors to high-performance athletes.
Our philosophy remains the same: understanding you and your injury and, using a variety of different techniques, helping you to get back to the normal sports, work, and activities that you love.
We do not provide Emergency medical care or specialised neurological services (outside of concussion management).

We have a team of highly skilled hand therapists who help you to recover from injuries that affect you anywhere from your elbow to your fingers. This can include: fractures, tendon injuries, post-surgical management, work-related injuries, arthritis and pregnancy-related hand symptoms. Our team have experience working with patients of all ages, including young children. Our hand therapists have completed physiotherapy degrees, and then gone on to have extensive training specific to hand therapy. Treatment techniques utilised with hand therapy can include splinting, bracing, manual techniques and wound care.
Coast Physiotherapy runs two-school based physiotherapy clinics, at Orewa and Whangaparoa Colleges. Additionally, all our physiotherapists and hand-therapy clinicians are experts at understanding, assessing and treating the unique demands that come with treating children.
As a Careway provider, the team at Coast Physiotherapy can support you with rehabilitation following specific knee, shoulder, and spine injuries. This programme focuses on allowing you to access the services you need, including physiotherapy, investigations, and specialist input. There is no cost for this programme. Just show your Member card (it’s on the app) or mention your number and we’ll do the rest. If your plan covers the product or service, they’ll reimburse the provider directly and you’ll only pay any remaining contribution you’re responsible for.
