We have a son deep in addiction, who has been extremely difficult to deal with. We had to step away from him to stop enabling the behaviour. This left both me (mum) and his dad extremely distressed and guilty and hurt. We approached the team and have NOT been disappointed. We really appreciated the clinical practitioner element, and the wellbeing coaching to offer directions and solutions I hadn’t realised existed. You often feel completely alone as parents with a child in this situation. I myself have been consumed by guilt and anger, and the ultimate wrap around this service offers helped alleviate that pressure. I wouldn’t hesitate to refer someone in my situation on to this team. Amazing people. Client
We initially thought we knew what was required to support our son and hoped this program would fix everything. However, the journey turned out to be much more profound and enlightening than we expected. This process was not just about supporting our son; it was about helping us as well. The sessions were incredibly beneficial, changing our thinking, our approach, and our appreciation for what our son was going through. We are forever thankful for the care, compassion, teachings, support, knowledge, guidance, and time. Joining the 8-week program to help our son ended up helping all of us. We gained a better understanding of ourselves and became more supportive parents as a result. Ngā tino mihi ki a kōrua i ō kōrua tautoko ki tōku whānau. We are deeply grateful for your support of our family. Client
