Options for psychological first aid training

Flexible delivery options, including interactive eLearning and in-person or online workshops, ensure your team members can learn at their own pace while gaining practical skills.

Psychological first aid in the workplace (Leaders)

Team leaders and managers have an important role to play in mental health at work. Leaders are often well placed to notice changes in a team member’s mental health, can put workplace supports in place, and can help direct the team member towards external supports. They can also build caring and proactive team cultures where workplace stress is less likely to build up in the first place.

To do this well, leaders need to be knowledgeable about managing well, spotting signs of distress within the team and skilful at responding to them. Our workshops are delivered by experienced psychologists who are highly skilled at working with diverse groups and delivering training that maximises their learning.

Psychological first aid in the workplace (Team members)

Our workshops for all team members equip people to better understand mental health and mental illness, to reduce stigma, and to increase helpful and supportive conversations about mental health in your workplace.

Our shorter introductory training (90 minutes) is intended to start idea-sharing and discussion within your team about these topics, while our longer workshops (half- or full-day) create lots of opportunity for discussion, asking questions and adapting the content to fit your people and your workplace.

Mental health training helps participants build confidence in having compassionate conversations about mental health, reducing stigma and boosting team wellbeing.
