Return to work after injury, discomfort or illness with expert vocational rehabilitation services and programmes
Can't thank Fiona Wilson enough. Her support for me during my injury meant the absolute world to me. Her knowledge and care for my situation was top notch and I enjoyed my time with her. Fiona went above and beyond when dealing with my return-to-work situation and I constantly felt as though she had my best interest in mind. I wish her all the best for the future, and I am comforted in knowing that someone of her calibre is in a position to be able to help those in need. Client
With the work I do supporting athletes from international to community status I was sceptical about the support that could be provided with the knowledge I already have. I approached this journey with a lot of scepticism. Geneva (Wellbeing) and Thea, managed to operate at a level that not only got me back to work quickly, but also exceeded my expectations and inspired me to now also raise my standards. We deal with a lot of athletes who go through tough journeys returning back to play or work after significant injuries. Geneva Health care and Thea will be highly recommended to athletes that we know need support. Thank you so much for the positive impact in my life. Client
What is vocational rehabilitation? Vocational rehabilitation services help eligible individuals to facilitate recovery and return to work following an injury or illness. Services also extend to helping eligible individuals to remain at work, prevent the development of discomfort, find new work or become work-ready.
What is a vocational rehabilitation assessment? A vocational rehabilitation assessment looks at what happens when employment is compromised due to discomfort, illness or injury. Assessments can range from finding ways to improve comfort and productivity within the workplace, identifying alternative work type options, activity restoration programmes, injury prevention services and more.
How do I apply for vocational rehabilitation services? Get a referral to vocational rehabilitation services through the business or organisation that employs you, or through a case manager (ACC, private insurance, or third party administrators).
